sHoP-A-hOliC

Yesterday I went home from work early because I was feeling a little sick..while I was laying on the couch I started to watch the Tyra Banks show. I like to think the Universe has funny ways of telling us things! But the topic was all about SHOPAHOLICS! It was hilarious. I always tell dusty that I am addicted to shopping and it is REAL! Now I have proof. There were two girls on the show and shopping had complteley taken over their lives, between the two of them they were OVER EIGHTY FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS in debt-dont worry I am not that bad! I know it was a serious situation for them but the whole thing was really comically especially when they started talking about how they hide their purchases-I totally do the same thing! Like keeping the bags in the trunk until nobody can see you sneak them in..or cutting of the tags and saying "no its not new my mom bought it for me" HAHA!! Usually I feel so guilty that I confess and tell dusty that I really did buy it! Luckily for me I can keep my shopping in check (well somewhat). But the show was finally the proof that I needed to tell dusty, I told you so-shopping is addictive! Does anyone else get a "high" off of new things? Let me know we will start a chapter of Shoppers Anonymous-and yes it ACTUALLY exsists!

You're so funny. I'm like that too. I don't think that bad though. It's harder to enjoy shopping when you gotta take your kids with ya. I can't remember the last time i bought myself something. but I do get that high when I see an adorable little outfit that Ryan just has to have. Luckily for me I do all the bill paying so Scott has no idea when I spend money. :) I always tell him though.

haha, I am laughing at the 2 above comments, because I was going to write, have a baby and your shopping addiction will be cured! It's no fun to take a cranky two year old shopping! And in 8 weeks, I REALLY won't be going AnYwHeRe... But having something new to wear is a total "high" I love it!

This really exist and believe me it's not funny when it's gets out control. Im a SHOP-A-HOLIC and if I don't get help Im going to ruin my married and my life. Just last year my husband paid over 50.000 in my credit card, and right now I own another 20.000, that Im trying to pay w/o him know. Im cutting my cards and seek help.
