So this really shouldn't come as any surprise to anyone..its the same old story..Dusty goes out of town and I stay home
unsupervised and overhaul one of our rooms. This time it was the kitchen! Now I did
warn dusty that I was thinking about doing something with the kitchen..however he was not to happy about that idea. Maybe I should mention that I just
barely redecorated the kitchen..but it really wasn't that great-not my best work.
I gave him some options and allowed him to put in his two cents-which really consisted of him begging me
NOT to paint the cabinets..
AGAIN..to which I promised would not happen (and it did not-I like to keep my word :) I think he thought since I promised I wouldn't paint the cabinets that I was discouraged and would give up on revamping the kitchen- is he going to be ever
SOOOOOO surprised when he comes home!
It is hard to tell from these pictures what the true color is but it is a mustardy/brown color-it isn't exactly what I was going for (It was supposed to be more
yellow mustard than
brown mustard, but it is growing on me..I hope anyway because dusty is not going to be out of town anytime

disaster but I am working VERY fast to get it done..I think I would have been a little closer if I would have stayed away from the mall last night-but I couldn't resist all the
50% off sales-really can anyone? I will post the finished product..along with Dusty's reaction..so if no one has heard from me in a while..maybe you might want to check in :)

I am excited to see it all finished. Can I just tell you I love your kitchen table, I love bench seats, but the ones I find always come with huge tables that would not fit in our kitchen!
You are ADORABLE!! When can I pay you to help me do something to our kitchen and living room... ? Tucker is away Saturday.. OOo Ooo.. I say we totally pull a "Dusty Away" and re-do the place :) He would Freak!.. and soon there after,get over it :)
