This weekend was a lot of fun and so relaxing. I love
Thanksgiving, it is my absolute favorite holiday. This holiday is all about getting together with family and having fun with no worries about gifts and if you spent the right amount. It is just a
simple no expectations family holiday and I love it! Since we live close to both our families we were able to spend Thanksgiving with both sides. We started off at my Grandmas then we went to the Rock's entire get together then we met back up with my family for the
Twilight movie (yes dusty went and he actually liked it :) then we went back to the Rocks for some more family time...even though Susan was trying to kick us out so she could get some sleep for
Black Friday! Friday I spent the day with Tiffany, we went to see
Twilight... and I still loved it the third time! Then later that night we went and picked out our Christmas Tree! This was our
first real christmas tree (our really nice fake one was ruined this summer when our basement flodded) I tested Dusty's patience with my crazy
INSISTENCE that the tree be potted in a pot! It was funny to watch him try to figure out how to "pot" a Christmas tree, I love it by the way!

Saturday we spent the night with my family taking pictures. We havent had a family picture in over
10 years...it was much overdue! They turned out pretty good for amatures with only a tri pod!

After the pics we headed to the Bowling Alley for some fun. Sunday was spent mostly in bed watching Christmas movies and doing absolutely
NOTHING. Ah the joy of doing nothing...however I did manage to sneak in working on a few projects of mine :) Oh they are going to be lovely when I am all finished! The coach and I have had a tough couple of weeks and I could see myself getting a little frustrated as well as ungrateful for the things that are going right in our lives. I am so glad for the little break that helped me relax and reflect on the
big picture...and not the next five months that are going to be...well...VERY CHALLENGING...but very worth it...
I hope!
