I think we take for granted our daily life, we are truly so lucky to live in the United States and enjoy the many things we have. You may not agree with the war, our president, or a number of other things, but the truth is there are wonderful men and women who VOLUNTEER to serve this Country and protect our rights at all costs. My dad was one of those men who volunteered to serve in the military and I am so Proud of him. Today I want to thank him for serving and protecting this country. I also want to say thank you to all those serving and who have served in the armed forces, without people like you fighting so hard for Peace we would not be able to enjoy the countless freedoms we take for granted every single day. Thank you Veterans for your service, I appreciate the sacrifices you are making for me and this country.

A day to Honor those who FIGHT so hard for PEACE
To some people today is just a day off of work..or just another day..but today is a special day. It is a day to Honor all those men and women who have served our nation in the armed forces.

That was a lovely post, I'm reading it a little bit late but I guess better late than never to remember our troops right? Thanks, we all need to remember why we have that day and I was forgetting.
